YOU HAVE CANCER -- three words that nobody wants to hear. Those who hear those words are flooded with fear and with questions. So. Many. Questions. Journey Bags wants to help people who are receiving a first-time cancer diagnosis as they begin to navigate their journey with cancer. Our mission is to surround cancer patients with love, encouragement, and resources.

WHAT WE DO
Having cancer is tough. The team at Journey Bags wants all cancer patients to know that you're not alone. Your friends care. Your family cares. Your community cares. And because we've been there, we want to help provide some comfort as you begin your journey with cancer.
No two journeys are the same. Our hope is that a Journey Bag, filled with carefully selected items, will bring comfort to cancer patients along their personal journey of diagnosis, surgery, treatment, and recovery.

HELPING CANCER PATIENTS THROUGH THEIR INITIAL DIAGNOSIS
There are so many unknowns as a cancer journey begins. What should I expect? What will be needed? Where do I find the things I need? How am I going to afford all of this? Our team has developed a list of resources that tells cancer patients where to get the things they might need. From where to get a wig to finding port shirts to ordering cold therapy gloves and socks, we've got you covered. Don't know what those things are? That's OK! We didn't either! We learned as we went. Our goal is to make your learning curve a little bit easier.
WHO WE SERVE
Journey Bags, located in Murray, Kentucky, partners with the Murray Calloway County Hospital to be sure that every cancer patient at their Regional Cancer Center who is receiving an initial cancer diagnosis receives a Journey Bag.
Additionally, anyone can make a donation in honor of their loved one who is beginning their cancer journey, and Journey Bags will send them a bag. Click here for more information on how to send a Journey Bag.
